A collective organism—coiled, electrically charged worms acting as one. Despite minimal cognition, refined instinct grants formidable territorial lethality. Voltvyrm does not respond to Needolin, implying either lack of consciousness capable of echoes or incompatibility with its collective nature.

In-Game Events

Nests in Voltnest at the Sands of Karak. Defeating it releases the Volt Filament from its shell—likely its core component or source of electricity. Nuu arrives afterward to examine the remains.

Behaviour & Tactics

Ceiling-dwelling barnacle switches randomly between three holes (left, right, center). Emerges, fires an electric pattern, then retreats; all electric damage—including ceiling contact—deals rapid 2 Masks. Attacks: • Volt Pillars: Arena-wide vertical columns in sequences (edges inward; center outward; four-wave variant with edges, center, then mid columns). • Volt Field: Bursts of small circles across the arena (zigzag lines alternating halves; paired zigzag; three stacked columns; full-floor coverage forcing aerial play). All telegraph with pink glow, leaving brief lingering zones. Notes: Ceiling barnacle deals damage on contact. Watch telegraphs, adapt to random hole selection, be ready for aerial movement on ground-covering patterns, and exploit emergence windows for damage.
