Antecedentes

Sister Splinter and her brood violently claimed Shellwood’s north, commanding living wood to bar and strike. Needolin echoes—‘This land is ours, now!’—reveal a conquest born of possession and violence. Mentions of sisters long gone and another ‘sleeping deep’ likely refer to Nyleth, the forest’s former heart (Flower Queen). Game files label Splinter ‘Splinter Queen’ vs. Nyleth ‘Flower Queen,’ implying rivalry and usurpation.

Eventos en el juego

Reaching the northern canopy seals the arena behind you with thorn-wrapped twigs; a second wall forms ahead. Sister Splinter descends from shadowed leaves. After defeat, Nuu arrives to examine the remains.

Comportamiento y tácticas

Ceiling-based predator—descends only when staggered. Phase 1: • Triple Strike: Three rapid downward swipes, repositioning overhead between blows. Hands alternate (left/right cover shifts). Total 2 Masks. • Vine Barriers: Retreats fully to canopy; summons two thorn-wrapped barriers that drop to random positions (contact 1 Mask; 3 hits to break). Your strikes or her own attacks can shatter them; all barriers vanish on stagger. Phase 2 (248 HP): • Splinterbark Minions: Vanishes; two aerial minions descend. Reappears after one is killed or time passes. She may cackle and summon a single minion from a random ceiling point. • Enhanced Barriers: Spawns 2–3 per cast; at 124 HP, special assault spawns six evenly spaced barriers covering nearly the whole arena. Tips: Punish right after Triple Strike and at the start of Summon. Watch which hand glows to dodge. Track rays of light that telegraph barrier drops; three needle hits destroy a barrier. Silkspear clears multiple barriers post-second stagger. Upward slashes or Silkspear pop minions; her own attacks also kill them. Parry remains viable. Healing windows open on staggers, early vine casts, and after each third strike.

Curiosidades

  • Splinter’s conquest likely occurred after Nyleth’s fall, replacing a guardian with a predator.
