Monarch of Pharloom, and the primal source of Silk. Heart of the Haunting, long lulled to slumber and desperate to wake. The higher being's threads stretched throughout Pharloom, snaring its bugs and driving them to madness and discord.

Antecedentes

A pale higher being who made Pharloom her loom. She uplifted Pharlids into Weavers, proclaimed them ‘daughters,’ then bound the realm to her glory. The Weavers ultimately lulled her to sleep, forging the Citadel as church‑and‑cage to sustain that slumber. Her will leaks out as the Haunting, puppeting bugs—especially those with Whiteward silk implants. She spun children of pure thread—Lace (loyal) and Phantom (cast off)—and the haunted caste seized Hornet for her. Hornet’s arrival accelerates the waking.

Eventos en el juego

Her stirring collapses Pharloom as possession spreads. At the Cradle’s peak, Hornet challenges the cocoon and triggers a six‑phase battle. Endings diverge by conditions: bind and become Weaver Queen; snare with Soul Snare for the Void; or the ‘Twisted Child’ path via the cursed bud. In the Snared Silk route, Lace severs the mother’s arm to free Hornet, falling with her into the Void. There the Mother cocoons herself and Lace against consumption, voiding her threads across Pharloom and igniting Act 3’s crisis until the finale in the Void.

Comportamiento y tácticas

Floats behind with 1095 total HP across six phases. Damage the torso; idling needles and body have no contact damage. Most attacks deal 2 Masks (Silk Web 3, Spike Summon 1). Phase 1 (1095–1005): • Needle Flurry (2×3); horizontal set always has a jump gap. • Needle Walls (2×3 to edges, then sweep inward). • Claw Swipe (full floor arc) → 6 pins down. Phase 2 (1005–830): • Silk Web: brief glow pattern, then detonation (3 Masks cutscene‑like hit). Phase 3 (830–620): • Needle Rain added; some repeats. Silk Web may repeat. Phase 4 (620–520): • Fake death and debris sequences (thick lines); can overlap with other moves. Phase 5 (520–300): • Spike Pull: spiked platforms rise (1 Mask, 2 hits to clear). Phase 6 (300–0): • Faster cycle; no new attacks. Stagger: needs 19 hits; brief window. Tips: Learn flurry/line patterns, evacuate Silk Web zones, use debris/spike timings to heal or reposition, and trade safely if needed—endurance beats greed here.
