Ancient Weaver condemned for a transgression lost to time. This one's husk held a masterful talent, to weave Silk into blazing runes. Throughout my life, I have seen runes woven for many tasks. Was she the first to hone such skills?

Antecedentes

The Slab’s first prisoner, a Weaver judged guilty of apostasy and sentenced to constriction with absolution denied. Her truth: Grand Mother Silk evolved Weavers from common Pharlids, yet deceived them as ‘daughters’ and ‘divine.’ Post-defeat, she confesses, ‘She called us daughters… Called us divine… She lied…’ Her husk preserved the mastery to weave Silk into searing runes; Hornet wonders if she pioneered this craft later used by Weavers across Pharloom. Game files name her ‘First Weaver,’ implying early transformation by Grand Mother Silk.

Eventos en el juego

Hidden behind a ceiling path near the Slab Bellway Station Bench (Faydown Cloak required), her cell is sealed by four Silk runes that must be broken to enter. Inside, binding the Weaver corpse reanimates First Sinner and shifts you to a runic realm. Deaths here do not cost Rosaries, create Cocoons, or end Steel Soul Mode. Upon victory, First Sinner floats at cell center; accept binding to claim her power and enter a Silk dream with shadowy Pharlids. A memory at the dream’s end depicts a Pharlid transformed into First Sinner by a Silk strand—visual proof of the deception.

Comportamiento y tácticas

All attacks deal 2 Masks; Frenzied Charge may hit twice for 1+1. Contact deals 1 Mask. Phase 1: • Needle Weaving: Channels then launches needles in varied patterns (crossed diagonals, vertical rains, 3-needle diagonals, dual horizontals with center gap). • Frenzied Charge: Arena-length rush with blade swings. • Aerial Lunge: Teleports or jumps to deliver two fast diagonal slashes. • Teleport / Skitter: Repositions away if crowded, toward if too distant. Phase 2 (1105 HP): • Bind: Heals 130 HP after ~2s channel; interruptible. • Enhanced Weaving: Sometimes stacks two patterns in one channel. Phase 3 (650 HP): • Rune Rage: Rises and weaves 12 blazing circles that explode in sequence, covering half the arena. Tips: Her fixed stagger thresholds allow pre-planned burst windows. Treat contact damage as a last-resort trade over being clipped by 2-Mask patterns. Clawline and running attacks excel at crossing space; ranged tools interrupt Bind.

Curiosidades

  • Her dialogue reveals the Weavers’ origin as evolved Pharlids—key to Pharloom’s lore.
  • The runic weaving craft likely originates from her, predating Citadel techniques.
