Background

Second Sentinel stands among the Citadel’s elite guardians, wielding twin scissor blades with refined precision. The Citadel learned much from foreign masters—Pinstress technique shows through their parries and X-slashes. Though bound to protect the Citadel, Second Sentinel recognizes Hornet’s pure Silk and the difference between Haunting and will. Their arc reveals honor beneath duty, choosing respect when confronted with Hornet’s integrity.

In-Game Events

After collecting 3 Cogheart Pieces and assembling the complete Cogheart, placing it in the Sentinel’s chest within Cogwork Core reactivates them. Awakened, they elect to continue guarding the Citadel. The Wish ‘Final Audience’ appears after helping them repel hordes, completing ‘Building Up Songclave,’ and obtaining Conductor’s Melody. This leads to a High Halls trial—Second Sentinel ensures you are not Haunted. Upon defeat, they acknowledge your purity and grant Reserve Bind, parting as a friend.

Behaviour & Tactics

A precise, mobile duel with strong air options. Patterns include Gilded Combo (lunge chains), Aerial Lunge, Power Blade (wind projectile), Scissor Strike (2-Mask X-slash), Gilded Whirl (spinning jump, 2 Masks), Flying Retreat (wall leap strings), Gilded Parry (deflect + 2-Mask riposte), and Quick Dash repositioning. Respect parries and punish committed swings; vertical resets break their strings.
