Some things may be hidden, but never forgotten. The shrine remains to remember the wood's first seed, her that once was and always is.

Background

Once the living heart of Shellwood, Nyleth’s memory lingers in a hidden shrine. In her absence, predators seized the boughs—Sister Splinter claims ‘Splinter Queen’ where Nyleth was ‘Flower Queen.’ The fight frames her as both mother and storm: walls of thorn, choking pollen, and spiked fruits that can be turned back against her.

In-Game Events

Deep in Shellwood’s Hidden Shrine, a three‑second scream drops both of you into the arena. Claiming the Pollen Heart changes the statue above, marking your choice. The encounter is a memory—but the damage, lessons, and prize are real.

Behaviour & Tactics

Two phases; all standard hits 2 Masks (Spiked Balls vary). Nyleth clings to a wall and swaps sides, coating her current wall in painful thorns. Arena: Phase 1 is a horizontal chamber with a central platform and climbable vines; Phase 2 removes the platform and extends the walls downward. Touching vines deals double damage; a temporary platform appears at the bottom for three seconds after a fall. Attacks: • Wall Swap: Current wall grows spikes; she turtles in petals, leaps across after 0.5s, then thorns re‑grow on the new wall. • Head Swings: Big arcing sweep; in Phase 2 also covers the underside. • Pollen Barrage: Four alternating volleys of 3/4 shots fill gaps in sequence. • Pollen Screech: A charged bloom blankets ~3/4 of the arena; only the opposite wall is safe. • Spiked Balls: Three vertical fruits launch at set heights; striking them turns them into projectiles to hurt her or cancel others. Phase 2 adds two more to fill gaps. Tips: • Clawline and Ascendant’s Grip keep you mobile and steady on walls. • Cross Stitch pogo parries everything with enough Silk sustain (Weavelight + Druid’s Eye). • Use her balls against her—convert hazard to damage. • Phase 2 wall‑to‑wall play makes vertical tools essential.

Trivia

  • Requires ~30 hits to stagger.
  • Contrasts ‘Flower Queen’ vs. ‘Splinter Queen’ titles—implied rivalry with Sister Splinter.
