Chief and chaplain of the Stilkin, forever raging against the Citadel that chokes their caves and sees them suffer. This one's strength was much enhanced by stolen soul. They are not the first who tried to hoard it, or to mould it towards such violent ends.

Background

Groal leads the Stilkin of Bilewater and channels fury at the Citadel’s pollution. Beside his arena sits a hut with a strung‑up Snail Shaman, Seeker’s Soul, and rows of soul vials—evidence of stolen arts. His Needolin echoes ‘Swirling, pale flame… Obey me!’ betray how the power has warped him.

In-Game Events

At Bilehaven’s upper pools, you must clear six enemy waves before Groal erupts from the muck to begin the fight. After his defeat, Stilkin Trappers begin spawning across Bilewater, signaling disrupted territory.

Behaviour & Tactics

All hits 2 Masks. Groal often submerges, re‑emerging to hover and fire off 1–2 attacks. Splashes telegraph surfacing for Groal and his Stilkin. • Acid Spit: Two arcing orbs bounce once then pop (vanish if they land in water). • Great Inhale: Wide cone pull; being swallowed deals ticking damage until mashing free. Pimpillo/Voltvessel thrown into his mouth cause choking damage. • Spike Ball Ambush: Stays underwater and deploys a swinging trap that arcs across the arena (edge platforms safe). • Stilkin Ambush: Summons two Stilkin/Trappers to pop up under mid platforms for a single attack. • Soul Phase (≤390 HP): Emits Vengeful Spirit in 2–3 bursts aligned to your position (first time always three). Tips: Corners/going under water avoid the swinging trap; Wreath of Purity mitigates infestation; bait from one side to cluster ambush spawns.
