Disgraced Chef Lugoli

Lugoli once held prestige in the Citadel until repeated ‘culinary crimes’—dishes that violated all acceptable bounds—saw them exiled back to their home caves. The Haunting finished the job, twisting devotion into mania. Needolin echoes—‘Carve it! Sear it! Stew it!’—and pleas for validation (‘Is this enough? Ever enough?’) reveal obsession. Above the arena, jars of pickled bugs (Muckroaches, Roachcatchers, Craws) prove the chef's philosophy: preserve Pharloom's ‘flavour’ and ‘soul’ by bottling its creatures.

Found in Sinner’s Road in a kitchen arena accessible only with Faydown Cloak. Defeating Lugoli yields Pickled Muckmaggot—one of five ingredients for the ‘Great Taste of Pharloom’ Wish. Ringing the hanging gong summons two Roachservers; after they fall, Lugoli descends. Returning later reveals the assistants preparing Lugoli’s corpse—an unsettling coda.

Opens with a center Slam, then floats with patterns (contact 2 Masks). Phase 1: • Slam: Positions overhead, crashes down, scattering 4 arcing Muckmaggot Globs (two each side). • Leaping Butt Slam: Rear-first lateral jump covering over half the arena. • Ladle Slap: Winds up then smacks ground toward you, flinging 2 arcing Lumps. Phase 2 (300 HP; 600 void-corrupted): • Muckmaggot Dive: Burrows into muck at left/center/right, flinging 2 Globs on entry and 4 Lumps on exit (center has asymmetry). Act 3 adds Void Blades (tendril ring). Muckmaggot mechanics: 1 Mask + infestation on hit; ricochet off walls; fall straight when struck; Wreath of Purity blocks infestation up to 3 times.
