Accessing the Map

1. Visit the Website: Navigate to mapsilksong.com
2. No Registration Required for Browsing: Explore the base map and official POIs without an account
3. Browser Compatibility: Works on all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
4. Device Support: Optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

First Steps

1. Map Navigation

• Zoom: Use mouse wheel or pinch gestures on mobile to zoom in/out
• Pan: Click and drag to move around the map
• Reset View: Use the home button to return to the default view
• Fullscreen: Toggle fullscreen mode for immersive exploration

2. Understanding the Interface

Control Panel (Left Side)

• Layer Panel: Toggle different map layers and content types
• Filter Panel: Show/hide specific categories of points of interest

POI Types

Essential Features

Search Functionality

1. Click the search bar at the top of the screen
2. Type the name of a location, character, or item
3. Select from the dropdown results
4. The map will automatically focus on your selection

Filtering System

1. Open the Filter Panel on the left side
